“No housekeeping”

We were there for two nights. On Saturday morning, we left the hotel at 9:00 a.m. and returned at 8:30 p.m. In that time, housekeeping visited the room and removed the soiled bath towels. They never returned. When we returned, the beds were unmade, the trash had not been emptied, the towels had not been replaced. I reported this to the front desk and was told that it would be hard to get housekeeping at this time on a Saturday night. I told the front desk that all I wanted was some towels, but that I felt this level of service was unsatisfactory for the price. I was tols that teh owner would be in in the morning and that I should report this to him. When we checked out that following morning at 8:00, the owner was not there. The front desk guy said that he would forward our concerns to him. After a full week, I have not heard anything from anyone on this issue.
