“This was my second stay at the Days Inn Fort Myers Springs...”

  , Keystone Heights
This was my second stay at the Days Inn Fort Myers Springs Resort. I was impressed with the spring but when I went down to take a dip, the bathing pool had been emptied and they were painting - a big disappointment. My room was located right across from the spring and also the Tiki Bar - loud music and people until very late - we dealt with the noise without complaint. The second night we were awakened at 2:00AM by people partying in the room nextdoor - about eight people standing outside the hotel room talking and squealing - probably closed the Tiki Bar down and weren't ready to quit. After about 45 minutes of this and no sign that they were going to quit, I called the front desk for help - about 30 - 40 minutes later the noise ceased, I don't know if hotel management became involved or if they just got tired. Unfortunately we didnt get much rest either night. I'd say this is a good place to stay if you want to party at the Tiki Bar but not so great for people wanting to get a good nights sleep. The hotel is older but very well kept. The only other problem was with the shower - ran hot & cold for every shower we took - one minute too hot, next minute too cold. We dealt with this too but hotel showers are usually SO nice and this too was a disappointment. I will be going back to Ft. Myers to visit my daughter in a few weeks and I will stay at the Days Inn because if its proximity to my daughter's home but I really wish I could stay there without the problems listed above.
