“Good Value”

  , Toms Brook
Our first room smelled like cigarette smoke even though this is a non-smoking property. We were cordially moved to a new room, which was very nice. The desk clerk, Sonny, was very pleasant. Breakfast was good if you are a meat eater (sausage and sausage gravy over biscuits), as well as a selection of breads, cereals, and pseudo french toast (they occasionally have eggs in place of the sausage). The room was very quiet, but there were several annoying lights that shone all night (but no night light in the bathroom) -- we covered the one on the TV with a towel and that helped dramatically. All-in-all it was a good value place to stay. Finding the entrance to the hotel was a bit of a challenge -- you have to drive through the parking lot of the neighboring hotel to get to it.
