“Worst rooms of the whole trip!”

  , Pocatello
We had 3-2 queen bed rooms for 2 nights. All were filthy! Dust on the TV cabinets, bugs in the light fixtures, cigarette burn holes in the sheets (none smoking rooms), extension cord wired in under desks, bathroom floors so dirty the grout was black and turned the bottoms of the bath mats brown, long brown hair was stuck in drain (not ours) and floated when you showed because the drain was partially clogged and took 10 minutes to drain tub after showing. Complained the first night they said they would change the burned sheet out while we were at dinner, nothing was done when we got back. Had to ask for sheet and change it ourselves. Dropped burnt sheet in the corner of room. Thought the hotel would take the opportunity to dust, vacuum and mop the rooms while we were hiking the next day but came back to same mess. Towels had been replaced and the burnt sheet had been picked up from the floor, folded and placed in the middle of the bed. Breakfast was pitiful. Little 3 inch sweating pastries in plastic, waffles, watered down OJ, and cold boiled eggs that one of the housekeeping ladies put on a platter from a 5 gallon bucket (We saw her with her cart outside one of the rooms when we entered the breakfast area, unless she used the sink in the guests room she did not wash her hands prior to restocking the breakfast area.) Breakfast offering was so sad no one even went the next morning choosing to go without breakfast. Days Inn has always been a go to hotel for our family. Great service, great prices a great hotel, but this will be one Days Inn we will not be staying at ever again. If you would like pictures let me know. We did document our concerns.
