“Incorrect Pricing, Smokey Room and Hallway, Stoic Front Desk”

1. Had problems with the on-line reservation - my reservation showed I had booked a room in Lancaster, PA but I had selected DeSoto, TX. I called the toll free number and the person was very helpful in getting the reservation corrected.2. At check-in, the Front Desk handed me a print-out to sign, the rate for the second day was higher than the first day and was incorrect. The Front Desk couldn't tell me why there was a difference and I had to show her my e-mail that the confirmation and the rates before she would change the rate. She then would not print out a corrected copy for me to sign so I lined through the incorrect rates before signing the paper.3. Walking to our assigned non-smoking room on the third floor, the hallway reeked of cigarette smoke odor. The room was not much better. We stayed two days and when we got back home, we had to wash all of our clothes that we had hung up because the odor had permeated the clothing.4. When we checked out, I asked for a receipt. The Front Desk told me that we would get an e-mail that would be our receipt. We never got an e-mail. I had to wait until today to see the final charge on my credit card account.Because of the unresponsiveness of the Front Desk to address our concerns, we would not stay here again, although I'm sure there are rooms that do not reek of the cigarette odor.
