“Terrible Experience”

Arrived at Hotel in the evening about 5 pm to learn that this hotel no longer offered a complmentary breakfast and the on site restaurant, Denny's was closed down and threre was on going construction for a new IHOP. After checking in, with luggage in tow, arrived at assigned guest room to received another unwanted surprise - the room had not been cleaned. We had to return to the front desk to ask for another room. The new room was dingy looking with wrinkled bed comforters and very bad lighting. The next morning at 8:30 am maid serviced knocked on the door to clean room and we were due to check out at 11:00 am. Upon checking out I was given an invoice to sign with the total amount to pay, while they held the itemized receipt to give me after signing. I had to ask to see it.(Guest should be able to review the itemized receipt before signing) The only good thing about the stay is that it was only for one night and management did reduce the bill by $10.
