“Terrible reception”

Terrible reception upon check-in. Rooms not ready at 5 p.m. I had reserved three rooms to hold for three people. Was told it was up to me to figure out what eveyone owed me since my card had already been charged( for rooms not yet ready) and there was nothing the front desk could do to split rooms into three different cards. She also told me "sorry" she couldn't help in getting our party a taxi. Suggested I go outside and wait for one to drop someone off.. Manager and subsequent front desk staff were great. They had no problem spliting room charge. The hotel is in need of repair. Elevator did not work after first hour. Hallways smelled.
