“No pride in the establishment?”

  , Washington
The front desk lady was very sick, myself and other guest asked if she was okay. The lobby's men's bathroom's door was held wide open with a trash can and as I walked to the men's room, a gentlemen using the urinal was spotted by a little girl walking right by the men's room in route to the women's room and saw the gentlemen full on standing and using the bathroom passing by. There was no cleaning staff anywhere in sight to assume it was mid cleaning. The room was dirty, & there were dirty spots on the walls, unpainted patch work throughout the room, my television was not only very old, but the tv buttons did not work, increasing the volume changed the channels. I tried resorting to using the tv's remote but that didn't work as half the buttons didn't function, or the batteries were dying. The heat had to constantly be turned up high because there was too big a gap under the door allowing full sound in and out the room as well as the rooms heat and letting in the winter temperatures inside. The toilet seat was either I cleaned or old and spotted, either way it was an eyesore to look at. The light in the bathroom had a big hole in it as well so good thing there wasn't a big problem I noticed. Your carpet was stapled together where it's been degrading. And worst of all I had no internet connection. The second older desk lady was nice enough to allow me to sit in the Lobby where my iPads mobile signal at least worked, and once it was too late to sit in the lobby to use my internet to communicate, I had to resort to walking outside to get any signal in winter temperatures. A very creepy older African American man in glasses slowly drove upon me in an old blue/green van harassing me about "knowing the game" and a lot of other nonsense who I learned later was supposed to be your security. I learned that info from the night desk man who I told of the harassment and that I was walking outside to get a signal to communicate with my children. He shrugged indifferently and suggested I walk across the parking lot to a different hotel establishment for a signal and even knew the name if their wifi info off the top of his mind! It wouldn't have mattered with the old harassing security man. He suggested to me I could stand by another room nowhere near my room In. Winter. Temperatures. I didn't even stay the night. I had enough and decided to leave so if I've given anything in this review a 5 rating it's because I didn't use it. I generally like days inn. NOT this one.
