“Not Very Good”

I'll start with what annoyed me the most, and that was that our first night at the hotel there was NO HOT WATER. After driving 7 hours in a car, not having hot water for a shower really made me mad. And all the front desk had to say about it was, "Well, sometimes we need to reset the hot water heater. It will be a few hours but you should have hot water by tomorrow!"Yea, if I wanted no hot water I'd have stayed in a campground. Oh wait, they usually have hot water.Next up I discovered the drain didn't close properly, so I could not take a relaxing bath either (wow, no hot water and no bath!). No attempt was made to offer a different room, just a minor apology and "I'm sorry there I nothing we can do about it."Upon check-in, when asked for an extra towel I was told I didn't need another towel. It was not till I insisted that I would like one more that one was given to me. I understand that's a minor issue, but there is no need to be stingy with towels. Especially when a whole bunch were sitting behind the desk ready to go, and this hotel had a pool. So why fight me over wanting an extra towel?I will say however that the free Wi-Fi, continental breakfast, and maid service were nice. And it's location was very optimal to restaurants, the mall, highways, and the movies.But no hot water on the first night, improper drain in the tub, and poor customer service over a towel? Yea, we won't be coming back to this Days Inn.
