My Husband and I stayed one night Sat, 1/19. The african american woman that checked us in was unbelievably rude!!!! She seemed genuinely pissed off at the world. Ignored us, wouldn't even look at us, no please, no thank you just angry!!! I told her 3 times to hold the room with my Husband's credit card, but that we preferred to pay cash at check out.The hotel was disgusting, there was candy all over the lobby floor. We got to our room and the interent DID NOT WORK on the tv. I packed my bags with attire to use the fitness room, but it was under renovation.....might be a good idea to put that on your website! The gentleman that worked the evening shift was wonderful. The next day another woman checked us out, not sure of her name, but she had an accent. Again, a very unhappy employee. Never once did she ask me how I'd like to pay, she just charged out credit card. I told her I wanted to pay cash....well, that pissed her off. It took her 20 minutes to refund the card and we were told it would take 7 days to be refunded to our card. An employee should NEVER assume how someone wants to pay. I took my Husband to Boston for the night for his Birthday. We had a nice time in the city, but we will not be back to your hotel unless there are drastic changes. Disappointing to say the least.
