“MY DAYS INN EXPERIENCE”

  , Marshall
Well the first problem was right at check in. We booked our stay on line and right away the clerk wanted to start charging us more than the web site charged us. Then we could barely get the door open (the whole time). The hotel itself was a little on the run down side, as it looked like someone bought an abandoned hotel, slapped some yellow paint on it and called it a days inn. The air conditioner didn't fit, so they stuffed Styrofoam around the edges which looked hideous and the power cord was plugged in to a plug laying on the floor. Every night we had to shut the bathroom door because cigarette smoke would come in from another room somewhere and stink us out. We tried, but never could get the room safe to work so our valuables were left unprotected as well. And at the end of our stay, they pressed the issue of charging us more and my wife didn't feel like arguing with them at 5am so she just paid the bill and we left. We will be back to the area next week, but absolutely will not be choosing this hotel, they are obviously doping it all on the cheap. There is a motel 16 miles north that offers much newer rooms with kitchens for $70.00 cheaper per week than the days inn in lytle.
