“Okay stay”

I stayed at this hotel as I was in town for my graduation. The pros: no unusual odors, clean room, large size. Staff was very helpful in providing a sewing kit when needed. Cons: Mattress on bed was as hard as a rock. Mattress pad did little to provide any cushioning. The toilet handle had to be held down for a long period of time or it wouldn't flush. Walls are thin to the hall so you could hear anyone going by. Breakfast was the same every day: sausage, gravy, biscuit, cereal, waffles, and fruit. Signs on door indicated food had to be consumed in the dining area per County Health department. As the area was packed with people there was no where to sit so guests were forced to stand to eat in a room that was a potential fire hazard. We took our food back to our room anyway. I didn't pay to have to stand to eat my breakfast. Also parking is limited in the front and not enough handicap places so one night we got in late and had to park way in the back. We checked out around 4am on Sunday to go home since we had a 6 hour drive and could not stand the bed anymore but had to wait while the hotel staff went to find baggage carts because no one bothered to put them in the lobby. First stay at a Days Inn that we were dissapointed.
