“Met it's purpose”

We enjoyed our trip to Mackinaw city. It was our first time there, so we didn't know what to expect. For the price of the hotel I would've liked to have seen an elevator to the 2nd floor and an ice machine there too. The staff was friendly and gave us extra towels, and they're good sized towels too, not your typical small bath towel. The beach access is next door, but it's such an awesome beach, who cares if you have to walk a bit to get there. I do have a warning though. The hotel gives you flyers for local restaurants at check in stay away from the pizza place, I want to say it was something jo's. Gave us the WORST heartburn in our lives! My fiance' had his heartburn for 2 days after eating it...uggg. The hotel was good though, just a bit pricey. OH, and their breakfast 25ft hot breakfast...joke. It was scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy that gave me diarrhea, and cereal, bagels and english muffins. Their fresh fruit was pineapple that was obviously out of a can! One more thing I almost forgot. The pool. The hottub was awesome, but the pool was smelly. It was as if the chemicals weren't mixed right or something. Ever get smelly clothes out of the washer, that's what their pool smelled like.
