“Do Not Stay Here”

We arrived to a dirty room. Zero security with a key and lock you could pick with a hair pin. In fact one person on our team was locked out of their room when their door would not open and the staff actually pulled out the air conditioner and crawled through. Upon viewing my room lack of securtiy and dirtiness I declined the room. The girl at the front argued. Being a woman with a 14 year old son there was no way I was staying there. There was a homeless person on the door stop and it was not safe in our opinion. This should NOT be a Days Inn. The front desk was rude and told me they would charge my card even though I told them the room was unacceptable. Another parent in our group also cancelled due to very unseemly unhygenic dirt in his room after he was checked in for an hour. They let him cancel but said they would charge me! I will never stay at a Days Inn again if they do not refund my card immediatley. Absolutely horrible and poor business to hold you to it.
