“Power out”

I am very upset, on our final night the power went out, we were on the third floor. We had the alarm set for 4am, to get up , shower, and have some coffee, then leave for our trip to Tennessee. I woke up and there was no power. (transformer went out) No shower, no lights, no coffee, and no elevator. I am 60 with arthritis in my legs, and we had to walk through the halls in total darkness and down 3 flights of stairs carrying all our luggage in the dark, there was a little light coming from the generator down the stairs. When we got down to the desk, there was no one there and the sliding doors were open. I still never received my receipt, even with numerous calls to email it to me, 2 different email addresses. I don't feel I should have to pay for the last night, I was told they will give me 1/2 off my next stay there. I will not be going back there, as I was only there for my nephews wedding, I live in TN. I should not be charged with Saturday and I expect to have the charge taken off my charge card. I understand the transformer went out and I suspect many people didn't make their flights. I will still continue to use Days Inn in our travels, but I want to have the Saturday charge taken off.
