Days Inn Bloomington West

Hello I am the General Manager for the Days Inn Bloomington West. I am sorry to hear that you did not have an exceptional stay during your recent visit. I will follow up with the staff as to why there was trash outside the main door. I have several checklists that they must follow daily and if signed off as cleaned I will follow up with those individuals as to why it was not. It is that time of year we start switching from heating the rooms to cooling the rooms. I will inform my maintenance to go in inspect that the cooling function on the units are working. I will also talk to my staff about assisting guest if they have special request or needs. « hide

Thank you for choosing the Days Inn Bloomington West for your lodging needs during the convention next door. While I am glad to hear the experience was okay. I will look into the beds feeling hard. We have changed out about 75% of our beds in the last year with new pillow top beds. Our pool is kept at a comfortable 86 degree temperature all year round. We try and provided a shuttle service to the convention next door when guest are staying with us along with our normal runs to the mall of America and the Airport. « hide

As you mentioned for those going to the convention we are only a short walk/ride to the convention center. We have a hot continental breakfast that is severed every morning form 5am to 10am. While I am glad to hear that the staff was able to address your concerns right away I will follow up with the laundry and the housekeeping on watching out for sheets that may still be stained after washing. Our breakfast is very popular since adding a rotating list of hot items each day. And with the convention going on next door we also provided a shuttle service to that location to better accommodate the guest saying with us for the convention. « hide
