At arrival into the room we turned on the AC to alleviate the discomfort of the heat. after an hour i walked out to get some ice and he door would not close because of a screw that was hanging loose from the door jamb. i reported the issue personally to the front desk and was given the room next door. that took another hour and a half before we could occupy it due to heat. while we were waiting for the room to cool off the mini frig did not work so we switched that out and then discovered that night that the toilet was leaking and kept running every 30 minutes. it was such an inconvenience to have to move once that i was not going to go through that again not to mention how embarrassing it was to do what i had to do. if i had been camping, that would not have been totally unexpected but not when i'm staying in a hotel and paying to avoid situations like that. the guy at the service desk even wanted me to return the keys to the room with the bad lock. i didn't go to the Days Inn to serve the front desk... oh yes, we were there for three days.
