“The Good The Bad The Ugly And My Two Cents”

The good: Location great, easy access to interstate and central to all, the bed was very comfy, the staff was great very friendly and informative and they bake fresh cookies complimentary, they have a full complimentary breakfast. The room itself and the linens were clean.The bad: The price vs the hotel type was too steep, upon arrival it smelled like garlic and curry in the lobby although fresh cookes were just baked and not a hint of them in the air, the first room we were checked into had an exterior back door type entrance which is a no no for me I don't like exterior room door hotels so we went to the front and they kindly changed us to another room upstairs. The employee at the front desk on Sunday morning was obviously running the entire hotel alone, he was checking people in/out helping with issues with doors, stocking the full breakfast bar and he couldn't keep it stocked fast enough with all the other duties. Are the owners so greedy they can't hire another person to cover the breakfast, you clearly over charge for the room stays. The furniture coaches and chairs in the lobby and inside the room were dingy and stained some old and worn looking. They charged my debit card by accident twice, once upon arrival and again after we had already checked out and left the hotel. The water never got hot in the shower.The ugly: The roaches, If i don't have roaches in my own home I don't expect to pay somewhere to stay overnight with them either.My 2 cents, exterminate, hire more help, and I have no idea how much your employees are paid but they deserve to be compensated for all the hard work they do.
