“The Most Horrible Hotel Stay of My Life”

I have stayed in many hotels over the years ranging in quality from little hick-town motels to very expensive resorts. But this BY FAR has been the most horrible. I have called your toll-free customer care number to complain not once but THREE times, every time being assured it would be dealt with and someone would be in contact with me soon. Well, still haven't heard from anybody. I thought this hotel chain was supposed to be a credible, clean and friendly business. Yeah, my husband and I got FAR from that at the Holly Springs, MS Days Inn. I was yelled at, told my room wasn't ready when all I was doing was calling to see how late I could check in, there was a dead roach on the bathroom counter when we entered the room, when we left Saturday morning and returned to our room we were told by housekeeping that the room had just been cleaned...well if that's clean I hate to see what your dirty is. The trash can in the bathroom was sitting on top of the bathroom counter and still had trash in it (we were told that housekeeping was told not to waste garbage bags), there were wet dirty wash cloths still laying in the bathroom sink from that morning, the ashtray had not been emptied or cleaned (still had every cigarette butt I had left in there), then the manager called the room to ask if I wanted room service and when I told her "no that my husband and I were having to cut our stay short and were going to have to leave and go back home she became VERY irrate on the phone again and actually began yelling to me that I COULD NOT LEAVE, because I had booked 2 nights and it was already after 11am. I explained to her that I knew I couldn't get a refund I didn't care about that, she still just kept yelling at me that we could not leave she would not check us out. Needless to say we checked out, and we will NEVER as long as I live check back in, nor will any of our friends and family after what we have told them. If I hear no response this time from my complaints I will go on your Facebook page and your website and any other website where I can leave a review about this hotel and let everyone know what they are about to get into. Please prove me wrong that this is not a company-wide problem.Thank you for your time and consideration.Jenna L. Ozier
