“Great location to Skyline Drive, but an older outdated hotel...”

  , Walkersville
The hotel was not cheap--$120 per night for a standard King bed room. The hotel was a little dirty; the bathroom fan did not work and had black dirt all over and inside of the grates, the carpet was very old and worn and it felt sticky, (we kept our shoes on!) Also, the sheets seemed clean, but the bedspread was worn and outdated. The worst part was that the TV was "stuck" in spanish--we speak and read english. We couldn't figure out how to fix it. When we called for help, they sent a clerk who didn't know how to fix it either and said that the only person who could fix it wasn't in until the next day...so we had no TV, which was a bad thing! The breakfast was nominal--weak coffee and toast, muffins, etc. but nothing to be excited about. With lots of other hotel/motel chioces nearby, I probably would not choose to stay here again.
