“Never Again”

  , Saint Louis
I would never stay at this hotel again. From gaping holes in the hallway ceiling and a musty smell to the thin walls and grime in the bathroom... need I say more? I will. The shower curtains haven't been properly installed so even though they are on those curved rods intended to make you feel like you have more space, you don't - nor is the rest of the bathroom protected from the water. The shower head was disgusting as was the caulking around the tub. The TV was one of those ancient box things with an awful picture - if you don't have an HD big screen this won't make a difference. The phone was missing it's face plate. The dorm size fridge looked like it had lived through dorm life and was equally as clean on the inside. My most incredible discovery was the flashing sign outside that boasted the hotel's "remodel." This hotel is a franchise. Whoever is responsible for managing the Days Inn brand ought to stay a night in this hotel. Though this is the first time I've stayed in a Days Inn, I can't imagine this low level of quality is their norm. Not that I will ever find out...
