“Disappointing even at this price”

We were there for my brother's funeral. We checked in at 10:30 p.m. and discovered a little later that there was no hot water in our room. When we called they offered to let us move. At that hour after a 9 hour drive we just wanted to sleep. We said we would call back in the morning. We called around 10 and they weren't sure where to move us. So we told them that we would go to lunch and move afterward which meant a quick change for the 3 p.m. family viewing. They gave us a room and key, only to then say it was the wrong room and gave us different keys. We booked a King suite that had two bathrooms. We ended up with 3 double beds and only one bathroom. The pool was so cold that our grandsons were not able to swim during their 3 day stay which was a major disappointment. What was ridiculous was the staff seemed unaware of this until we brought it to their attention.The first room also had ants in one bathroom. All in all, I will just pay more next time and stay at a chain I know will be satisfactory.
