“A Penetrating Odor”

  , Lexington
There is a Tyson meat processing factory just down the road from this hotel which made stepping out of our car and into the lobby feel like we were getting gassed. Considering the air outside the property was so foul, the hotel walls were strong enough to resist the smell, and our room smelled fine. The problem was more of an emotional and mental one. We felt uneasy during our entire stay and subsequently considered becoming vegans. Apart from the offensive and troublesome smell, the room was sufficient. Clean and spacious. Not sure what the neighborhood is like, as the woman at the front desk greeted us from behind what appeared to be bullet proof glass. Maybe she was using extra protection against the noxious fumes from the Tyson plant...
