I had several issues with my stay. It started with the cleaning people coming by my room some time before 9:45 a.m. and seeing the Do Not Disturb sign on my door and sliding a half sheet of paper telling me I have to call for cleaning now. I was rushing out the door at 9:45 a.m. and did not have time to read the paper but I did remove the Do Not Disturb sign from my door. They did not clean my room at all. There is no reason for the cleaning people to not check the rooms again after the checkout time (11 a.m.) Upon checkout, I did receive a credit because of this problem. I also noticed at checkout that the cleaning crew had their children helping them with cleaning! Second problem was I was awakened at 7 a.m. and every few minutes thereafter for an hour and a half while some people were repeatedly banging doors. I do not know if it was the same group of people or different people. I do not know if it was room doors or outside doors. What I know is that either there is minimal soundproofing in the rooms or the doors are closing way too loudly. I did not get a credit for having to wake up three hours before I needed to. The next problem was that they require 24 hours advance reservation to obtain an airport shuttle. The problem is that there is no sign anywhere advising of this requirement. I ultimately had to ask my 16 year old second cousin to drive me to the airport and leave the party early to take me. I did not receive a credit for this. The non-manager (the "manager on duty" was not on duty that day) was very nice and called a cab for me, but it had to leave from the hotel, so it was either aske a family member to take me back to the hotel or to the airport, and he just took me to the airport. Lastly, we had a party in one of the party rooms. The room was ridiculously hot on a hot day. They should have turned on the air conditioner in the room at least an hour in advance to cool the room down before they crowded several people into the small room. The bed was nice and firm, though. The non-manager was very pleasant and clearly over-worked.
