“Decent value for the money”

  , Minneapolis
The Willmar Days Inn is clean, reasonably well furnished and well located near the junction of the major highways. The room furnishings were comfortable, with a microwave and minifridge. The staff was very friendly and especially helpful. The bathroom was clean and well stocked with towels, but I was provided with only shampoo and soap. No conditioner was supplied. The sounds of the nearby rail yard did penetrate the room, but they were muted, and didn't disturb my sleep. The room lacks an adequate amount of outlets. There is only one outlet on the wall where the bed is located. With two lamps and a clock, there's already one plug that doesn't have a place. Some hotels now have lamps that include outlets and USB ports for guest devices, and these would be a nice addition to this hotel. The complimentary breakfast included cereal and milk, pastries and breads, and juice. There were no selections for those who have to avoid carbohydrates. The desk clerk at my check in was especially helpful. I had left my corporate card at home, but we were able to get my wife to email us a photograph of it, and the clerk handled the billing cheerfully and efficiently. When I departed, the morning clerk printed me a receipt quickly, and thanked me for staying there.
