“Great rates, Nothing Fancy”

I stayed at this hotel because it was near Holderness School and Plymouth. The price was very affordable. The front desk staff were very helpful and efficient. The hotel, however, is a little old and dated. The pool is large but not very inviting. The hot tub is above ground. We never tried either. The hallways have an unsual odor - not bad, just unusual. The hallways have unusual bumps and and metal plates under the carpet in a few places. It was just odd. Beds are firm with plastic coverings on the mattresses. I suppose this is to keep bed bugs away. Pillows were overstuffed and too big. One interesting plus was a nearly full-size regrigerator in the room. It was huge. TV, coffee maker, microwave, etc. all fine.There was a table and two chairs in our room, but there were in a corner without a lamp or an outlet. We rearranged the furniture so that a laptop could be used, food eaten, etc. This is a hotel that has seen finer days, but if you are not too fussy and need a very affordable place to stay, it's fine.
