“Acceptable for the price”

This is a decent location and the people that worked there were very nice to me. I was very displeased when I went to the desk and they charged me $15 more for the room than the sign outside offered. The sign said "Starting at $70" and wouldnt you know, "we just rented the last room out at that price..." I wasn't buying a car, but the whole bait and switch thing made me feel like it. I had been on the road for 16 hours at this point so I was ready to hit the rack and wake up refreshed. And I did. Nice clean room. Comfortable bed and pillows. In the morning the manager on duty reprimanded and employee in front of me, which I did not appreciate, especially after I had asked the manager for assistance with the toaster that was not working properly. I thought it was unprofessional and childish, but that has nothing to do with my stay at the hotel. They have coffee makers in the rooms, a nice breakfast and the hotel is clean. There is a pool that is about the size of a sandbox and smells about the same, so we did not swim, not to mention with the two people that were in the pool, there was no room for two more people, Nor would there have been any water left after they got out. Which again, has nothing to do with the hotel. The business center is a desktop computer in the middle of the lobby, which was rather entertaining. But I have a smartphone and I get my email on that, so I didnt use it. Would I stay in this hotel again? Absolutely. It was not the Ritz Carlton, but it was better than sleeping in a tent.
