“Nothing above standard”

  , Denver
The stay was good and the room was nice. We were pleased with the overall experience. The gentleman that checked us in and that worked again another morning during our stay was extremely unhelpful. We had traveled all day and upon check in wanted to shower. So we had used our towels. Later that night when I asked for two extra towels and a wash cloth as well as a blanket from the front desk he told me "there are already too many towels in your room and I don't know about the blanket." Umm, Excuse me sir, I also work at a hotel and if I said that a guest couldn't have the things they asked for I wouldn't have a job. Try a little customer service. It's not like what I asked for was over the top ridiculous. He was again unpleasant when asked for pool towels because the rack in the pool room was empty. The auditor was kind. The service didn't ruin the stay but definitely put a bad taste in my mouth.
