“Review of Days Inn Carlsbad NM”

  , San Antonio
We were in Carlsbad to visit Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe Mountains National Parks; the location of this hotel is about the best in town for those visits. This hotel was average in quality. While the cost was high, it was priced at about half of the more upscale hotels in Carlsbad - plus we were able to get a better price for 3 nights online than we could get via calling the hotel. The breakfast lacked variety; the main staple for was make-your-own waffles. While old, the room we were in had been given a recent facelift (paint, carpet, etc) and was adequate. The hotel was generally quiet for two of the three nights we were the kids but got noisy on the third night. The WI-FI was excellent. As the hotel was not our destination (but just a place to sleep), we would likely stay there again - primarily because the more upscale hotels in Carlsbad were far too overpriced and the location was more convenient for traveling to the national parks.
