“unbearably noisy, smells bad, room in poor condition”

Not only does the coal train run every 30 minutes (across the street) the rooms are so poorly soundproofed that you can hear doors opening and closing up and down the hallway. Could also hear people walking around above us. Didn't get a wink of sleep. The hallway smelled of cigarette smoke and the room itself smelled musty. The tile in the bathroom was very poorly done with sloppy caulking that allowed mold to grow. I wanted to tell someone before we left, but no one was at the front desk when we came down for breakfast....which was a joke....stale cereal, white bread for toast and crappy looking sweet rolls in plastic wrappers (looked like they had been bought in bulk from a discount store)....the coffee was bitter and had "sludge" in it, so I went to the Shell station nearby and got a real cup of coffee. What a waste of money.
