“HORRABLE experience. YOU can do better!”

PLEASE BE AWARE!!! Please do not stay here. I checked into this Days Inn on Mission Blvd, Hayward, CA and the first thing I noticed was the odor. A few minutes later, the attendant lit an ensense, I guess she noticed the look on my face. Anyway, I overlooked that I gave this place the benefit of the dought. OK, now I received the key to the door and proceeded down the walkway to find my room. I now noticed the window to my room was wide open, my next thought was uh ooh, I wonder if the rooms smell like the front check-in area "old moldy carpet", and that was the reason for leaving the window open. I left my room and went down the hall to see if other vacant rooms had their windows open as well, sure enough they all did. WHY? To air out the rooms so that the customer would not smell the odor as they enter their completely locked room; i.e, if the windows were locked. Needless to say, I checked in and then checked out. I was charged for that night and the other nights were subsequently cancelled. The first part of this review is to share with others and the owner. This second part of the review is particularly for the owner. Guys, you can do better, how would you like to go somewhere to stay and you get the same very experience I got. Would you like for your clothing and other belongings to smell like the hotel rooms you provide to your customers. I don't think so. So therefore, make some changes and you will get happy customers in the future.
