“Not sure exactly where the problem is...but there is a BIG PROBLEM”

  , Kansas City
We were there with a group for baseball. I made reservation with the rest of my team over a month ago. Our room was not by the team and was substandard to other rooms...no TV, phone and smelled like smoke. We complained, they apologized saying they didn't know there was no TV or phone and they immediately offered us a new room...still not by our team. The new room had a TV, phone but it also had tons of mold in the bathroom. This time we called the front desk to ask for the manager - "no manager but the girl that answered said she will come right up". Very nice young lady came to the room, agreed it was unacceptable and moved us to an upgraded room. We thought we were good to go until we went to bed. I jumped in the shower to prepare for a good nights sleep and saw mold, although just a little, on the tub caulk. Too tired to care do I jumped in bed and was beyond done with it all when the wall convector/air conditioner unit was LOUD and made clanking and rattling noises all night long. We travel quite a bit for baseball and most always stay in these "types" of hotels in this price range. We will encourage our other team families to avoid this hotel at all costs for future trips. I sincerely hope the management determines the problem and fixes it before they loose all of their business going forward.
