“Great value on the airport strip”

  , Toronto
Myself and three women family members stayed one Saturday night in August 2013 as part of a girls trip to Niagara US & CAN. We chose this property due to proximity to shopping and a restaurant we frequent when we're in the area and we were pleased with our choice. We checked in quickly and easily around dinner time and were assigned to a room that met with our special requests. We were four to the room so there wasn't a ton of space, but for one night it was manageable. The room and bathroom were a bit dated and worn, but also clean and neat. There weren't enough towels (are there ever?) so we had to get more from the desk along with a complimentary toothbrush for someone who forgot to pack theirs. The only minor challenge we had with this property was finding parking when we returned to the hotel after dinner around 10pm Sat night. The hotel was booked solid and the parking lot isn't very big. I waited in line at the front desk for about 15min to be told we could park in front of the restaurant (by one staff member) or in a handicapped space (by another staff member). In the end we parked by the restaurant. For a hotel directly across from the airport and one that was completely booked, it was nice and quiet. We didn't hear anyone in the hall, cars in the lot beneath or window, or any planes. One thing - the A/C unit in the room was quite noisy. It rattled around a lot, but we were so tired we fell asleep and weren't bothered by it. If you're a light sleeper, bring ear plugs. Unfortunately it's not on a thermostat, so whatever you set it at as you go to sleep is what it stays at all night. The pool and hottub were small and basic, but nice and relaxing. It was great they were open until midnight! The continental breakfast included was adequate. It was nice having a variety of toasts, cereals and yogurt. There were two egg offerings but both were dry and cold (even if you managed to snag one as soon as it came out of the kitchen). If they could find a way to keep the eggs hot, they'd probably be really good. The oatmeal was an awful mushy mess. Stay away unless you like it gluey. The coffee, tea, hot chocolate selection was decent.I would definitely return to this hotel should I need to stay by the airport again. I might just go elsewhere for breakfast.
