“poor customer service”

I good my room a couple months in advance over Orbitz, which was my own mistake when our plans changed a couple weeks before our trip. However the amount of aggravation the staff put me through in changing my reservation was absurd. I worked at a days inn for three years and am fully aware of what it takes to change an orbits reservation. After a phone call to Orbitz for their approval, it took three phone calls to the hotel to get the manager, who assured me that it would be taken care of. I arrived at the hotel before check in time and some with the manager again at that time to confirm that the reservation was okay. He'd told me it was all taken care of. When I returned later that night to check in the evening clerk had no idea what I was talking about and continuously interrupted me as I tried to explain. While the situation was eventually resolved properly, I was extremely disappointed at the lack of concern for the guest and horrible inter shift communication. The room was good though. What I expect from a days inn.
