“What a nice, simple hotel! Loved it!”

  , Rochester
We stayed in the Queen jacuzzi suite and it was small, but perfect for 2 couples. I thought the room was very nice-looking with 2 windows, 2 TVs (one per room), and a glass door separating the rooms. The 2 air conditioners were nice so that we all could have white noise for sleeping, as our room was right across from a stairwell and sound carried right into the room. In all, we had a relatively quiet stay (2 nights), the people at the front desk were very friendly, and the continental breakfast was sufficient (cereal, juice, milk, average-tasting coffee, make-your-own waffles, yogurt, bagels & cream cheese, and a few pastries). You even get a complimentary newspaper from the front desk each morning! The sauna/pool area is a little congested--the chlorine makes your eyes water. I guess maybe that room could be ventilated a bit better. Also, the bed mattress was quite hard, which made it a little difficult for me to sleep well throughout the night. The pillows were amazing though! My only big 'complaint' is that one time when I was walking up to the front desk from my room, the lady working at the time (Sunday morning, Feb. 17) was talking on the floor and bent over with her back to the door to the office, and I had a clear view of her thong and butt cheeks. Something should be said to her about covering that area when she bends over, or she could at least close the office door. It was quite ridiculous and inappropriate to expose that much skin. I'm not a prude, but I certainly didn't want to see it, and I'm sure there are others who feel much the same way.
