“disappointing”

  , Cottekill
I have stayed at the Dunkirk/Fredonia Days Inn several times since my daughter chose a college nearby. I have always appreciated to proximity to the school, as well as the friendly and helpful employees. This past trip was extremely disappointing for our family, as the pool was not available for use. I was not made aware of this prior to booking, but found out about this upon arrival. My nine year old son would have truly enjoyed the pool after our six hour drive to visit his sister. If this pool closure is to be a standard process in the next few years, I may have to look for accommodations elsewhere. I feel that the management of the hotel is making an enormous mistake by keeping the pool closed for this time period. Really, there is so little to do in this town. An indoor pool in the fall and winter is not only a draw for guests, but a huge asset and marketing plus for this hotel in this small town. I would strongly advise the management of the hotel to reconsider the closure of this pool for the fall and winter months posted. Thanks for your attention.Marianne Hawryluk845-802-3975
