“NJ Evacuation Hurricane Sandy”

We reserved a room in advance of the devastating hurricane headed at New Jersey. We chose Days Inn because they were pet friendly and offered internet services. Having internet services for communication was an important factor when we made the decision to evacuate. We had internet service when we arrived so we unloaded our pets and our 3 day supplies to 'weather the storm'...However, we lost service in the morning, while other rooms still had service. I was told that they would find "the man" and get back to us. Several hours passed and we still had no service. I called the front desk again and was given the name of the cable company and was told there was a card stand on the desk with their number. So after 45 min on the phone with the cable carrier and no results and still no results from the front desk, we were later that evening offered another room but decided if we were going to LOAD UP again it would be early in the morning when we CHECKED OUT instead of continueing our stay. I dont recommend this hotel !!!
