“This place should be torn down....”

  , New Braunfels
Our downstairs room had a leak in the bathroom that we didn't notice until about 3 in the morning, when the towel holder fell out of the soaking-wet wall, crashing to the ground. Walking about the next morning, I looked at the stairways leading to the upstairs....IF there's even been an inspector on those premises, I do NOT see how it would have passed - the stairs have obviously rotted out before (the steel steps themselves), so someone took some tubular steel, screwed them to the main runners, and poured concrete steps....leaving the form boards on the underside. One of the stair runners is SO rusted out that it no longer makes physical contact with the ground! The guard rails? Bolted in place in a couple of places - someone falling against them WOULD end up on the ground! I certainly hope that this isn't a corporate-owned property - but I'd still be ashamed to be associated with it!
