“Rude manager and dingy hotel.”

  , North East
The manager was not very accommodating with the price given to me and two and the two other families traveling with me, from your general reservationist. We even showed him the confirmation email that was sent prior to our stay. Then, when we arrived into our adjoining rooms, the smell was overpowering and dingy looking---not to mention having to move furniture to open adjoining doors. Very inconvenient and I was afraid to ask the manager for any help, since he was so rude to me when entering his hotel for two nights ! The "hot" breakfast was disgusting! In the hot buffet trays were frozen pancakes and sausage, that I assume we were supposed to microwave with the one in the Breakfast area. All 3 of the families went to the eat'n park down the street. This was the first time some of the people we were with had ever stayed in a hotel and I was embarrassed, since it was my idea to pick this hotel chain. We have stayed at a days inn once before in a different town. The only highlight was the outdoor pool that the kids were able to enjoy for a few minutes both days.
