“Pathetic Room”

At 9:30PM I was looking forward to a run on the treadmill in the fitness center. I went to enter, but it was locked. The Front Desk stated that it was closed until 9:AM the next morning!! I couldn't even get up a little earlier for a run. How pathetic is that? Most hotels have a 24/7 Fitness Center. At the very least, they could have it close at 12:AM, and open at 6:AM. Same goes for the pool and hot tub, as I couldn't use those either due to the limited hours. (They'll of course dismiss this complaint with the standard, "it's for insurance reasons" jargon)Sadly, the AC unit was not working properly. I understand that it is winter, but some people like to sleep in the cold. I bring a fan EVERYWHERE. My fan was apparently not working. However, I woke up in a restless state due to the heat, and went and turned on the light switch by the door. After flipping the switch, my fan suddenly came on. Ridiculously, they have the switch by the door operating the outlet on the furthest opposite side of the room. Perhaps it would not have been that bad if they would at least place a sign over the switch stating that the switch operated the outlet on the other side of the room. So, with my fan now working, I eagerly get back into bed. Unfortunately, I was so frustrated, I couldn't get back to sleep.Breakfast wasn't bad for being continental. However, they stated clearly to me over the phone that it did include hard boiled eggs. Protein is a necessity for me in the morning. There were NO hard boiled eggs, and they stated to me that there never are.I was ready to politely state my frustrations in a very civil manner upon check out, however, the blonde hair girl didn't have the decency to ask me the standard, "How was your stay?" Therefore, I did not even get to let her know. Perhaps she didn't bother to ask due to the regular negative feedback which they receive.The microwave was also pathetic at making popcorn.The guy who checked me in was very polite and friendly.
