“40/night says it all”

Just for insight, I'm a 29 year old male that has no issue with sub-par hotels (when not traveling with my wife or kids that is), so please note that I don't write this review haphazardly.I arrived at the Days Inn Henrietta and was greeted quickly and pleasantly by the front desk staff and I was in my room within 5 minutes. Unfortunately the room didn't match the service. The first room had a broken telephone, broken tv, either broken or close to broken heater, and smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke (I requested a non-smoking room). I went back to the front desk and had my room changed, without hassle, and found the next room to be much better, although the telephone was broken and the bathroom faucet leaked. Ok, so the second room left some to be desired but the bed was comfortable (I didn't lay on the bed in the first room so I can't comment on that).Past the room escapade, it wasn't a bad stay. The fitness center is junk, so don't waste your time but the breakfast was out and ready by 5am each morning, nice and hot and tasty (the breakfast was the reason I chose the Days Inn in the first place so that made me smile). There is a bar, that seemed to be fairly lively even though I didn't stop in because of my work schedule. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, even when I was complaining.Long story short: Get a non-smoking room, don't expect to use the fitness center, and expect a few minor inconveniences. The price matches what you get as long as you go by these few guidelines.
