“Decent but deceptive”

Apparently this hotel is under renovation because the room I booked and the room we received were nowhere close to being the same. Our room looked old, worn out, and the amenities followed suit.The temperature control knob on the air conditioner was broken; wound up using a pair of needle-nose pliers to keep us from freezing at night. The shower had very little water pressure and the temperature of the water seemed to vary between boiling and ice cold - never could get a happy medium there. The king-size bed was mostly busted as the springs collapsed immediately when we laid down on it. There were very few available power outlets in this room. None near the bed or in the sitting area. Fortunately there was a surge protector plugged in under the desk/table and we were able to charge our phones there.On the plus side, the TV was nice and the WiFi was great, so at least we had that. Also, the breakfast buffet is a great addition to your stay here. Way better than any other hotel breakfast you'll likely ever see.All totaled, it wasn't worth the $90/night we paid, but we survived and had a couple good breakfasts.
