“Days Inn has lost a customer forever!”

This was the worst stay I have ever experienced at a hotel. I booked this room a month ahead of time for a friend's bachelor party and specifically asked for a room with a roll-away bed. We were told that the property did have them and one would be available upon request as long as they weren't already taken. On the day of our arrival, I called to request the bed and was told the property did not allow them at all. So, I called the 800 number, spoke to two separate people, neither of whom seemed to care about our situation. I was then hung up on. I called back, and went through the same two people, before being told that someone would get in touch with me the following week about my complaint. This was a.) AFTER MY STAY and so didn't help at all and then b.) NEVER ACTUALLY HAPPENED! The customer service I received was atrocious. After being rudely dismissed, I called the property again and was then told a different story stating that SOME rooms allowed roll-away beds, but not the one we were in. I was hung up on again when I asked if there was anything they could do to either discount the room or refund our money so that we could find somewhere that COULD accommodate three people. We were forced to buy a cheap air mattress for one of our party to sleep on. The three of us will absolutely never stay at a Days Inn again and will be liberal in telling others to steer clear. You need to use this as a training tool and drastically improve your customer service. Nothing short of a full refund at this point will appease the fact that a special occasion was single handedly ruined by blatant incompetence and lack of give a damn.
