“Nice hotel but had several problems”

The hotel was in a good location (short drive to Scandinave Spa and Blue Mountain ski resort), clean, well-appointed. The staff at the front desk were very friendly & cheerful. I liked the deal they have where if you buy a pass to the Scandinave Spa from them, you get 10% off your room. I ran into several problems, though, with only a 2 night stay, so that really affected my opinion of the hotel. It's not that the problems weren't taken seriously & addressed -- they absolutely were. It's just that I'm not impressed when this many things go wrong in such a short stay.When I checked in, I discovered that my toilet wouldn't flush. I called down & the front desk attendant immediately came up to investigate. She left briefly to get a rubber band which she said she needed to fix it, and then told me it was okay again. A little while later I had to go to the bathroom again, and it still wouldn't flush. She said she would have to call maintenance so I was moved then to another room. The second night, I got back to the hotel late in the evening and discovered that neither of my key cards would work in my door. I had them in different places, so I don't think they both could've gotten zapped & demagnetized. This was made more annoying because I had a bulky armload of stuff and was on the 4th floor. I left it all in the hall to go back down to the desk and get the keys fixed. When I finally got into my room, I discovered that housekeeping had never come that day. I called down to the desk to let them know. They assured me that housekeeping *should* have come, and they offered to bring me up anything I needed. But by that point I was too tired & said not to bother.I think I would be hesitant to stay here again. Although the rooms were nice, I'd be wondering what was going to go wrong next. I also had difficulty adjusting the temperature in the room -- it got very hot one night, and though I reduced the temperature I was never able to get it to cool down at all. (I did not ask about this because I was checking out the next morning anyway.)
