“Days Inn Pittsburg airport june 29/30 2013”

The hotel is at the end of a long stretch of road with only one way in one way out. The exterior of the property could use some grounds keeping, it wasn't very well taken care of. The lobby was not welcoming, dirty, with dim lighting. The hotel is very poorly designed, seemed like lots of twists and turns to get anywhere. After we checked in we went to our room and believe it or not, this room was already occupied, resident was not there thankfully, but still what a shock. After complaining to the front desk about the mistake, we made our way to the new room. The room was musty smelling and dim lighting, as we looked around noticed cobwebs on the ceiling, dead bugs and trash on the carpet. So naturally we checked the sheets for cleanliness right away, which seemed to be ok. The deadbolt between ajoining rooms was not locked. TV had horrible streaks from improper cleaning, not to meantion reception was terrible. Bathroom appeared clean, but didn't use shower. In the morning for breakfast, the dining area was so crowded with tables and chairs it was difficult to move around other people to get food items. Tables and chairs were wobbly, and not cleaned very well, food was fair quality for a hotel. When we finally checked out, the lobby still wasn't cleaned and my wife actually fixed the drapes on the way out.I was a place to sleep and quiet, even though the pillows seemed to be about 15 years old, and the bed probably could have been updated.
