“Worst Shuttle Service! Bad Management!”

WASTE YOUR TIME! HORRIBLY MANAGED AND UNRELIABLE! BAD COMMUNICATION!!I got the cruise and stay package with my family. There was 14 of us in our group and the hotel told me that they would have to make 2 trips. For the departure time that wasn't a big issue we took the shuttle and wait 30mins for it to return and take the rest of the family (15mins to and from the port). But the return was where the problems started. They hotel receptionist told us to call when the ship docks at the port and they would come to pick us up. I called them at 9:20am from the ship, we waited at the pick up spot for the shuttle and it didn't arrive til just after 10am. In addition. there was already 2 people waiting to get on the same shuttle (which is a 7 seater van) so the van only took 5 of my 14 family members and it left at about 10:15am. We thought we would wait 30 mins for the shuttle to come back. 45 mins later the shuttle had still not returned so I gave the hotel a call and they told me, the shuttle that is coming to pick us up is picking up passengers from another hotel for drop off and has been waiting there for 20mins already and the guests are no where to be found. The receptionist also told me that because there was too many members in my family to fit into a van there would be a taxi to pick up the remainder and she told me the driver would know who to pick up. We continued to wait the shuttle didn't show up til 11:15am and that's when I noticed that there was another group of 8 waiting to be picked up by the same 7-seater van. When the van pulled up, the driver told me that the other group had priority over my family and that they called first?! REALLY? It was the exact same driver that dropped us off on the first day and picked up the first half of my family already and he claims that the other group called first? I couldn't believe what I was hearing. The driver went off somewhere to call his superiors while we waited and wasted more time. He finally comes back and had hired another taxi to take the other group. We packed everyone into the one van. By the time we got back to the hotel it was almost 12 noon. So not only did the receptionist lie about having a taxi prepared but the entire shuttle service is horribly managed. The How do you expect one 7-seater van to shuttle all the passengers for 2 hotels coming off a 1000+ passenger cruise ship in a timely manner. 2.5 hours for a 15min trip is NOT EFFICIENT and UNACCEPTABLE
