“Thin Walls and Loud/Disrespectful guests”

  , Northville
This hotel seemed like a great value but I would never stay here again. We checked in on a Saturday and planned to stay for one night. Everything was fine until about 10pm when it became clear that the walls were paper thin and you could hear everything from the hallway outside to the people next door to you talking (not even loudly, just talking at a normal volume). It was fine once everyone headed to bed around 11, but at 1:30am a bunch of people returned to their rooms clearly drunk. They were running up and down the hallways yelling, slamming doors, and jumping (so much that things in my room were shaking). This persisted for almost 2 hours. At one point the guests were smoking pot and the smell was pervasive throughout my room. Unfortunately it was 3am and there was nowhere else to go. Finally the rowdy crowd settled down and went to bed but it was horrible since I had to wake up early the next morning and catch a flight. It was a great lesson in you get what you pay for. Trust me, saving the $8 compared to a near by Hampton Inn was not worth it. I will never stay here again.
