“HUGH HASTLE CHECKING-IN”

I am a rewards member and prepaid (for 15% discount) my reservation using the Wyndham website. Upon checking-in at 4:30 PM the desk clerk demanded a $50 cash deposit or my credit card for "incidentals". I had to wait for her to locate a manager by phone who first attempted to tell me the same thing. After she finally comprehended that I was a rewards member and made the reservation online, she finally said the clerk had only been there 2 days. Improper training and not the clerk's fault. I should have received a credit for the hastle, and instead didn't even get a proper apology. This is our last Wyndham stay!!! After all that occurred the clerk still wanted my credit card...I gave it to her but will not stay at another Wyndham.
