“Fantastic View.”

The view from the 3rd floor room was fantastic.When we arrived I was promised a 2nd floor room, but they were all filled? I was offered 1st or 3rd. I have a problem with heights, that is why I asked. The room smelled of mildew when we arrived, I think it was the carpet. The cleaning ladies do not do a very good job underneath and in corners and door ways. The door was dirty and old looking. The bathroom was clean, which is a real + A MAJOR PROBLEM is the cleaning staff does not speak English. If this is the case for the most part, the customers should be warned at check in. I had trouble with 2 of them on differnet occasions, just shaking their heads and smiling. All I wanted was clean towels and ask if the pool was heated, I don't think that was asking too much She gave me soap and shampoo and I had to walk with her to her cart and show her what I needed. Habla Espannol??? I wasn't sure what language I should be speaking in USA. Also, had difficulty with the gal in the coffee shop. She was sweet and wanted to serve us, but the English was difficult. Overall, we had a nice time for an Early Summer trip. The problems with this place could easily be corrected with more training of staff on customer service. I am not sure I would come back after the upcoming June Bugs pass thru the Hotel. The staff will not be able to keep up with the messes that the grads cause.
