“Shouldn't Carry Days Inn name”

  , Island Park
This is the WORST Days Inn we've ever stayed at. It should NOT even be allowed to carry the Days Inn name. In fact this is probably the WORST hotel we've stayed at in over 40 years of travels. If Days Inn doesn't remove it from its chain of hotels, they are making a HUGE mistake. The property is very OLD and the carpets and furnishings are worn out. Doorknobs are broken, beds are terrible, and air conditioner makes noise. That's just a few of the obvious problems. There was hair on the pillows, and dirt everywhere. The price was twice or more than what the room was worth. We haven't seen a motel this bad in all our years of traveling. Desk staff were nice, but they shouldn't have to ask people to put up with conditions like this. The lobby is the only clean, relatively modern part of this motel!!!!!!!! We almost left, but we were tired and there wasn't another motel for over 20 miles.
